To preserve the memory of the tragic event, the entire area was given the old Slavic name Div\u010dibare, translated as \u201cDevoja\u010dke bare\u201d (“Maidens ponds”).<\/b><\/p>

It can be said that the plateau is divided into several geographical units, which together form a unique mosaic of nature.<\/p>

Kraljev sto<\/h4>

Kraljev sto represents the highest peak of the Maljen mountain, with a height of 1104 meters <\/b>and an enchanting view of the beautiful pastures, forests and mountains nearby. All lovers of field trips will be delighted by the fact that there is an organized tour<\/b> by a famous cart train, from the center of Div\u010dibar to the highest point.<\/p>

There is also a story that the famous Emperor Du\u0161an watched the legendary battle near the Kolubara plain from that point, which was fought between the army of the Kingdom of Serbia and the Kingdom of Hungary.<\/p>

Crni vrh Div\u010dibare<\/h4>

It is the second largest peak of the Maljen mountain, and it offers a spectacular view of the surroundings. Div\u010dibare has a rich cultural heritage, which is imprinted and preserved in many landmarks.<\/i><\/p>

There are several monasteries nearby, such as the \u0106elije monastery,<\/b> which was built in the 13th century, the Jovanja monastery<\/b> from the 15th century, and the Leli\u0107 monastery,<\/b> whose foundations were built at the beginning of the 20th century.<\/p>

Near Div\u010dibare is also Valjevo <\/b>– a city that played a prominent role in many movements for national liberation, so it is our warm recommendation to visit the Nenadovi\u0107 Tower, the National Museum, as well as numerous art galleries with important exhibitions.<\/p>

You can take a walk through the old part of the city and visit the Te\u0161njar \u010dar\u0161iju <\/b>– the bazaar <\/i>from Turkish times, or stop by the nearby village of Struganik and visit the birthplace of \u017divojin Mi\u0161i\u0107.<\/b><\/p>

This ski trail stretches for approximately 600 meters <\/b>along the northern slopes of the mountain. The slope of the track is somewhat sharper, and the drop is steeper, which means that it is not suitable for beginners, but only for experienced skiers.<\/p>

Night skiing<\/b> is definitely a special pleasure – the “Centar” trail is the only one with lighting, so you can safely ski at night and enjoy the starry sky.<\/p>

Also, near the “Zmaj” and “Stra\u017ear” resorts, there are 3 smaller ski slopes<\/b> that are ideal for those who just want to try skiing. A ski school <\/b>is open for all children during the winter season.<\/p>

During the summer season, the cable car at Crni vrh is open, so visitors can enjoy a panoramic ride<\/b> and a view of the entire area!<\/p>

Among the festivals and concerts<\/b>, \u201cMountain Music Fest\u201d will attract lovers of popular music, art and science. In addition to it, there is also the \u201cYU Jazz Fest Valjevo\u201d, for all old souls, as well as “Zlatni opanak”\u00a0 – the biggest folklore festival.<\/p>
